This photo is from a party at the place of Elizabeth (right) and her boyfriend Erik Axel, who are both from Norway and studying for the year here in Amsterdam. There's also yours truly looking truly enormous, my friend Mette who has just returned to Denmark and her boyfriend Marten. It looks like we took this photo quite late in the evening.

I spent a morning with my brother Chris last week here in Amsterdam. He was passing through on his way to Sweden, where he met with some of the Swedish Vikanders and took a bus all the way down to Italy to ski. Unfortunately his original flight from Montreal got cancelled and pushed back one day so he was only here for the morning, but of course it was still great to see him.
